E101 & E128

The Inland Revenue, National Insurance Contributions Office, International Services in Newcastle issues an E101 to UK nationals working in another EU country to exempt them from paying social security contributions in that country because they are still paying them in their home country.

The E128 entitles you to medical treatment in another EU country where you are working, or if you are a student. You have to obtain an E101 before you can obtain an E128
